HR & Staff · On the roadmap
On the roadmapThe right people with the right access at every counter
Role-based permissions are built into Nexus365 from the start. A fuller staff module for profiles, shifts and attendance is on the roadmap, and this page explains what's planned.
| Staff member | Role | Discount limit | Refunds | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arif Hasan | Branch manager | 25% | Approve | Active |
| Sumaiya Rahman | Senior cashier | 10% | Request | Active |
| Rakib Hossain | Cashier | 5% | Request | Active |
| Lima Begum | Stock keeper | — | — | On leave |
| Former cashier | Cashier | — | — | Deactivated |
The problem
Shared logins make every problem untraceable
- Cashiers share one till login, so no one is accountable for a cash shortage.
- Former staff keep access because nobody remembers to remove it.
- Shift rosters live on a wall chart that can't be compared with sales per hour.
- Managers can see financial data they don't need, and juniors can approve discounts they shouldn't.
Key capabilities
What HR & Staff does
Staff directory
Profiles with branch assignment, role and status. Deactivate someone and their access ends at once.
Roles and permissions
Fine-grained permissions such as discount limits, refund rights and financial visibility, assigned by role.
Cashier PINs
Personal PINs for fast switching at a shared till, so every sale is attributed to a person.
Shifts
Planned: rosters by branch, compared with footfall and sales per hour.
Attendance
Planned: clock-in tied to cashier sessions and branch.
Access reviews
Periodic reports of who can do what, for owners and auditors.
Typical workflow
Access that follows the person, not the device
- 1
Onboard
Create the staff profile, assign a branch and role, and issue a PIN.
- 2
Work
Each sale, refund and discount is attributed to the signed-in person.
- 3
Escalate
Actions beyond someone's limit request approval from a role that has it.
- 4
Offboard
Deactivation removes all access at once, and history is kept for audit.
Intelligence
AI that explains itself
Recommendations show their evidence and confidence. Anything that moves money, stock or prices waits for an authorised person.
Staffing vs demand
Planned: compares rosters with hourly sales to suggest where cover is thin.
Unusual activity
Flags patterns such as frequent voids or refunds by one user, for a manager to review.
Integration points
Connected to the rest of Nexus365
- POS: cashier sessions, PINs and discount limits come from staff roles.
- Approvals: escalations route to the roles you define.
- Audit log: logins, permission changes and approvals are recorded.
- Payroll export: planned through the integration framework.
