On the roadmap

Keep your accountant's books where they are

Many businesses want to keep the accounting tool their accountant already knows. Nexus365 is designed for that: it runs the operational modules and sends balanced journals to your ledger, first as a file export and later as a direct sync with the tools customers use most.

What it connects

What the connection carries

  • Journals

Balanced journal entries for sales, purchases, payments and stock, mapped to your chart of accounts.

  • Trial balance

A trial balance per period to check against your ledger after each export.

  • VAT and tax

Tax amounts separated by rate, using the rates you configure.

  • Account mapping

Your accounts mapped once by a person, never guessed.

Before you start

What you'll need

  • Your chart of accounts, so Nexus365 accounts can be mapped to yours
  • The import format your accounting software accepts
  • Your accountant's sign-off on the mapping

What we don't claim

  • Journal export is planned. Today, reports in the interactive demo export to CSV.
  • No accounting tool is named as a connection until a direct sync is live with a customer.
  • Nexus365 doesn't file tax returns. Your accountant reviews VAT and tax configuration.

How to connect

How the connection will work

  1. 1

    Map accounts

Map Nexus365 accounts and tax rates to your chart of accounts, with your accountant.

  2. 2

    Export journals

Export balanced journals for a period in a file your accounting software can import.

  3. 3

    Check the totals

Compare the trial balance in Nexus365 with your ledger after import.

  4. 4

    Go direct

For the tools most customers keep, a direct sync will replace the file step.
